Intersection,the traffic node of the urban transport vehicles,directly restricts the efficiency of the traffic network.Intersection controls the traffic flow by the signal light,which makes traffic flow conflict with each other get channelized at the intersection.That improves the security of the transportation.However,it also causes traffic flow in the same phase periodically stop and move,leading the delay of vehicles.Therefore,the exploration of method about urban signal control method is good for reducing vehicle delays and optimizing operation efficiency of road.At the present,we turn our attention to the further development of urban public transport and settings of optimum single.It can be a reasonable way to solve the phenomenon of urban traffic jam.However,most of the urban public transportation has a low proportion of the total traffic volume and a lesser degree of the practical application of intersection signal control method in our country.All of this have an influence on the number and the running time of bus.Therefore,it is meaningful to explore a more reasonable bus priority signal control method in order to improve the bus speed,ensure the capacity of intersection traffic,and play a real role in improving urban traffic situation.Based on the existing research of bus priority signal control methods,we discuss the bus priority signal control problem at a single intersection,establish the urban intersection control model and solve the signal control parameters in this paper.Finally we take microscopic simulation of intersection and verify the model results.The main contents are as follows:1.We analysis obtain samples according to the number of bus lines with traffic data sampling through the traffic investigation to some intersections in lanzhou.It help us to learn the stochastic characteristics and the random distribution function of bus delay time at single intersection.2.In order to make up for the inadequacy of existing signal timing methods,we consider running characteristics of traffic flow with the random features including bus and social vehicles.So we establish the signal timing model,which aimed to single cycle delay.And solve the signal control parameters in order to improve the efficiency of urban intersection.3.By using Matlab and Vissim,we solve the established model and verify the model results.Base on the delay,we compare the relationship between traditional timing control model and we have study this paper.We confirm the feasibility and accuracy of optimization scheme of parameters in the paper and provide a optimization method for bus priority signal control.
