Bridge is an indispensable part of modern transportation system in our country,over the past 20 years,engineering has been enduring a leapfrog development under the background of rapiding highway construction and ccelerating urbanization process. However, it still has many problems at the same time:people always pay more attention to the technology of while ignore the management,take more seriously than bridge operation.Focusing on the investment that spend on bridge construction one-time, and seldom consider the necessarity maintenance cost for a long period, leading to the lower durability of bridge structure and shorter bridge service life,in addition,it also brings heavy economic burden to the society. Therefore, managers should not only responsible for the initial investment cost of bridge construction,but also pay attention to all costs that occurred in life time, set up with a holistic view of whole life cycle cost concept. In this paper,I am combining the characteristics of cost in different stages of the bridge engineering on the basis of research results at home and abroad, put forward the cost composition and calculation model,and take a bridge that is going to be built in our country as an example, predict the whole life cycle cost of different bridge construction scheme, using monte carlo simulation to conduct a risk analysis, apply life cycle cost analysis to the comparison of bridge construction scheme, provide managers with a new concept, improve the reliability of decision-making related to project investment and management.
