In the last decade,more attention has been attached to the localization of enterprise culture,brand promotion as well as marketing strategies,while the research on localization packaging design did not receive much importance and there are few studies on this.Ever since the21 st century,with the rapid development of the globalization of economy and culture,the global circulation of products has been widespread.In the background of global sales of products,it is necessary to take more localization factors into consideration in the process of packaging design.This paper will take one of the most famous sports brands,Nike as an example.By making use of research methods such as case analysis and comparison analysis to analyze the concept,strategy and features of the localization design of Nike,thus explore the rules and methods of localization package design of famous sports brand.The first chapter conducts literature analysis of the concept of localization and states the aims,objectives,meaning,research status,research methods.In the second chapter,it gives a detailed introduction to the rising reasons of localization design and the development trend.On the basis of overall understanding of the concept of localization design and the application prospect of product packaging design,the third chapter illustrates the concept and strategy of the localization packaging design of Nike.Following this,the fourth part makes an analysis on the features of localization packaging design of Nike.In the next chapter,it takes the localization packaging design of Lining as an example to put forward some advice on the localization packaging design of Chinese sports brand.In order to take a prior position in the fierce international competition it is necessary for Chinese sports brands to attach enough importance to not only the product quality but also the localizationdesign of product packaging.Only by showing enough respect towards the cultural and lifestyle of local consumers and applying attractive product packaging design,is it possible for enterprises to stimulate the culture resonate and explore the sales channel for products.The research on the localization packaging design of famous sports brands is of great theoretical exploration meaning while it may also widen channels for the global development of Chinese sports industry and sports products.
