| Road of Xinjiang locates in arid desert region, which dues to the special regional brought different climate environment and is leading to the large temperature difference between climate all the year round. The climatic conditions on the road cause varying degrees of damage, high temperature rutting and low temperature cracking of pavement diseases. These question often occurs. In addition, winter day and night temperature difference is more obvious in Xinjiang. Road will be covered with snow and the road will be frozen under the influence of temperature, which will bring hidden trouble to traffic safety.Karamay-Baijiantan expressway is a landscape Avenue and the city Baijiantan link. The region has a large temperature difference between climate. This article carries on the research to these question. We take the local climate data as the research basis, starting from the raw material properties of the road. We will pick the rubber modified asphalt and asphalt mixture SMA which can choose the optimal gradation types. These two kinds of materials are powerful and mutually matched. Low noise and high performance materials and environmental protection high strength materials are selected in order to improve the resistance of the road and durability of the road. At the same time, we take into account the humanistic climate and the use of the road in Karamay. According to the pavement structure design and verification, it is better to improve the strength of pavement. We use the dual means to research from the raw material and the pavement structure to improve the pavement performance. In order to give the best interpretation of pavement performance, this paper uses pavement performance index(PQI), which is based on the advantages and disadvantages of pavement performance. Based on the above research methods, it is proved that the choice of SMA rubber modified asphalt and reasonable pavement structure combination design is correct, scientific and practical, which provides some references for the road construction of Xinjiang. |
