Abstract/Summary:
Network society is a new social form constructed by the Internet. The network logic changed people’s way of life and production materially. Public cultural facilities are the carrier and foundation of urban culture construction, and the perfect or not of cultural facilities construction will affect residents’ cultural needs. The planning of urban public cultural facilities also changed correspondingly in the influence of network society. Therefore, based on the background of network society, this paper researches the planning of public cultural facilities. Through the analysis of the affecting factors which network society impacts on cultural facilities, public cultural facilities planning strategies are put forward to guide the construction of urban public cultural facilities in the future.First, the paper introduces the research background, purpose and significance, summarizes the research on network society and public cultural facilities at home and abroad. And it system introduces the basic concept of the network society and the urban public cultural facilities. The second, the paper researches the influence of network society to urban public cultural facilities, from the economic structure, the new culture and consumer behavior these three aspects. Mainly analyzes the function, quantity and distribution of public cultural facilities. Then, select public cultural facilities in Dalian, Beijing and Shanghai to research their space position, quantitative index and land function. To verify the influence of network society to public cultural facilities. On this basis, the paper puts forward the planning strategy of public cultural facilities from the aspect of qualitative, quantitative and orientation of regulatory detailed planning.
