In recent years,with the rapid development of economy and improvement of living standards,more and more Chinese coastal cities have the ability to buy yacht.The yacht industry has entered into a golden period.Higher performance are placed on yacht molding with the rapid development of the yacht industry.The yacht mold manufacturing technology is the central link of hull molding process.So a good yacht hull is depended on the quality of yacht mold.This paper takes pipe frame of the vacuum absorption yacht mold as research object and takes yacht mold's stiffness as research goals,optimize the size of pipe frame by the method of parametric modeling and finite element analysis.Finally,the author puts forward several suggestions for the layout of the yacht mold's supporting frame according to the above findings.The works of this paper can be concluded as follows:(1)Using a combination of 3D modeling software Rhino and Grasshopper to study the parametric modeling of pipe frame.It can quickly change the size of yacht mold's pipe frame by modifying key parameters,greatly improving the efficiency of geometric modeling and building foundations for further optimizing the structure.(2)Simplifying and cleaning up the three-dimensional geometric model of yacht mold and pipe frame by Hypermesh software.Then selecting a way of meshing and loading to establish its finite element model.The static analysis is done by Optistruct software to check yacht mold's strength and stiffness in three typical conditions.The results showed that the third condition which yacht mold is vacuum adsorbing is the most dangerous working conditions.So the structure of pipe frame should be optimized under the third load case.(3)Optimizing the pipe frame's size to increase yacht mold's stiffness.The results showed that the optimized strain of yacht mold is reduced.It has greatly improved the stiffness of yacht mold and achieved the desired effect.It also has some engineering value.(4)According to these research results,we can find the week place of this yacht mold and layout the yacht mold's supporting frame reasonably.
