As worldwide energy crisis is deepening, building as one of the three areas of energy consumption, its energy-saving potential is enormous.Public building energy consumption is much higher than residential buildings in cold climate regions, where we should focus on.Sports building included in public building is an important energy-saving part.However,Relevant norms for sports building energy-saving targets is blank for a long time.Therefore, the article choose school sports building as the entry point to break the traditional design ideas of "function" and "form",but combined with the “energy consumption”,study the relationships about space,energy consumption and comfort.Firstly,the article sorts the the development and current situation of school sports building.Summarizes the spatial, energy consumption characteristics.Secondly, the article choose some typical cases of school sports building in Tianjin for research.Then,Through the collation and analysis of the survey data, combined with computer software simulation, explore the mechanism of space, energy consumption and comfort in school sports building.The results show that the spatial scale, enclosed level and envelope interface are three elements which affect comfort and space consumption.On part of spatial scale,qualitative analysis shows that different aspect ratios and height effect on the indoor temperature distribution; Quantitative analysis confirmed the higher the height, the greater the energy consumption, but the aspect ratio is less affected.on the part of enclosed levels, qualitative analysis shows that the higher level of enclosed, indoor physical environment affected smaller by the outdoor, and the different enclosed direction effects on indoor physical environment; Quantitative analysis confirmed the the higher enclosed level, the lower the energy consumption, while the direction has a smaller affection.On the part of envelope interface,qualitative analysis shows that different types of window-setting effect indoor thermal environment and light environment.Quantitative analysis confirmed the larger window area, the bigger energy consumption.
