With the development of automobile market, the market has a growing demands on higher development level of auto parts and the ability to form a complete set of production. Automotive hydraulic torque converter is one of the key components to realize the automatic transmission of variable automobile transmission continuously, And automotive hydraulic torque converter's production, processing and manufacturing are becoming more and more digital and informational.It is an important link that the production capacity of hydraulic torque converter is improved by its flexible production and assembly line of hydraulic torque converter. However, there are many problems in the assembly production line of the hydraulic torque converter in the enterprise, such as production scheduling optimization and material delivery on time for the a set of line side library in material management, which can affect normal production schedule in production assembly process. So, it is significant to improve the level of workshop management.This paper analyzes the research backgroud on the semi-automatic production assembly line of the hydraulic torque converter. The manufacturing execution system(MES), which is combined with the operation situation and production program, is applied to the production assembly line to solving the existing problems in the enterprise at present. Production scheduling and material management module are analyzed in detail. It will improve production transparency agility of hydraulic torque converter workshop. The main research contents of this paper are as follows:At first, this paper expounds theories and the function models of MES and sets forth the roles and relationship among these models. Then, this paper analyzes the characteristics of workshop production, workshop digitized requirements and existing problems on hydraulic torque converter production assembly. On the basis of these, we divide and illustrate MES modules in the hydraulic torque converter system modules.Finally, it presents structure framework of hydraulic torque converter MES.(2)Secondly,considering production process and product structure tree of hydraulic torque converter,this paper encodes components of hydraulic torque converter MES on the basis of function module divisions.Eventually,the basic BOM of hydraulic torque converter is set up,which is viewed as the data basis of other modules in hydraulic torque converter MES.(3)Again, combined with the characteristics of hydraulic torque converter production line, it expounds related theories about the existing orders production scheduling algorithm and the optimization model. Production scheduling algorithm is chosen properly. And production scheduling algorithm model is established, which can minimize the cost of delayed order and ahead of order. On the basis of those analyses, the characteristics and process are analyzed in materials management. And production schedule module and material management module is optimized in a specific example by using this scheduling algorithm and the optimization model.(4)Finally, a software of hydraulic torque converter MES is constructed. The interface and the operation flow are analyzed in the production planning module and material management module of MES. The validity and rationality are verified by an example in the production planning module and material management module of MES.
