In the process of the maintenance and repairing for the asphalt pavement,regeneration of the waste asphalt mixture has become the focus of the research at home and abroad.The regeneration is a complete set of technology through milling planer,recycling,crushing,screening for the old asphalt pavement and adding some new asphalt,new aggregates as well as the regenerant,mixing,paving and rolling under a certain temperature.Among them,the performance of the regenerant directly affects the result of regeneration,so the research and evaluation on the regenerant performance is of great significance.This paper,relying on the topic ”the comparative study on the typical regenerant in guizhou”,comprehensively analysis and evaluate on the performance of the typical asphalt regenerant in guizhou through a large number of indoor and outdoor environment study,such as the entity engineering research,the routine performance testing of the regenerant,the performance testing of the regenerated asphalt,the performance testing of the regenerated asphalt mixture and evaluation on toxic substances of the regenerant.The main research conclusions are as follows:1)Through entity engineering research in guizhou,analysing the local climate conditions,counselling the regeneration equipment,collecting the information of the traffic flow,and Investigating regenerated asphalt pavement and so on,preliminary understand different effectiveness of the regenerant in the real application of the engineering,and lay the foundation for later objective evaluation.2)Through the indoor experiment study,uses the viscosity,the chemical composition,the quality change of TFOT,the viscosity ratio of TFOT,the flash point and the density index to evaluate the performance of the type A,type B,type C,type D,type E.The results showed that in addition to the quality change and viscosity ratio of the type B do not meet the requirements of domestic norms,the rest of the regenerant all meet the domestic demand.3)By analyzing the effect of the five kind of regenerant on the physical performance,the thermal performance,the anti-aging properties,and the component contents of he different degree of aged asphalt,study and evaluate the regeneration efficacy of the aged asphalt.4)Comparatively studys the effect of the different dosage,different kinds of regenerant to the high-temperature performance,low-temperature performance,and thewater stability of mixture.Results show that the appropriate dosage of the regenerant can make the pavement performance better.The high-temperature performance is best for the mixture that adding type D.The type C is better for the improvement to the low-temperature performance of the mixture.The type E is better for the improvement to the water stability of the mixture.5)By means of high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC)and Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS),respectively test polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and phthalic acid ester for different regenerant,comparatively analyze the toxic substance content of the regenerant,evaluate the influence of the regenerant on the environment and human health,finally puts forward the limits of the benzopyrene content.6)Based on the rainy,humid climate environment in guizhou,put forward the water stability index of the regenerated mixture as the main evaluation index and recommend the appropriate order from good to bad: type E,type C,type D,type A,and type B.
