Evaluation And Demonstration Application Of Travel Information And Services In Chongqing Common Highway

With the rapid development of urbanization in China,the role of trunk highway is more and more important,and the traffic demand is increasing rapidly.However,the infrastructure is relatively slow,and the traffic management level is relatively backward,so the resulting traffic problems are also increasingly acute.For example,the trunk highway transportation supply and demand imbalance,the traffic safety decline,and the traffic congestion problem is increasingly prominent,even traffic accidents.Therefore,it is not only the key method to study the traffic operation characteristics of the trunk highway for traffic operation status evaluation,but also contribute to find the cause of the traffic operation chaotically,and it also can provide trunk highway managers with the traffic improvement policies and measures,even the guiding role of planning and design.The paper follows the idea of summarizes research results,Indicator System,traffic operation status evaluation,traffic operation status improvement measures.First of all,through data collection and comparative analysis,summarizing the research status of traffic operation status,and putting forward the existing problems and shortcomings in the evaluation of trunk highway traffic operation status;secondly,from the evaluation of trunk highway about traffic flow,traffic blocking,and emergencies,the applicable index system is selected,and traffic operation state evaluation index system is constructed respectively;thirdly,selecting key monitoring section,building the model of the key monitoring section of the trunk highway,and on this basis,studying the evaluation process of traffic operation state of the road network;finally,the research on the practical and feasible measures to improve the operation efficiency of the main highway is based on the unsatisfactory state of the traffic operation.
