Conparative Study Of Urban Residence In Cold Region Between Canada And China

In this paper,the research direction for cold region urban residence,by comparing China and Canada in the similar latitudes,similar climate conditions of urban residence design activities,to think about new direction of cold region of China urban housing construction.Canada's economy developed,although cold but comfortable living environment,with the excellent urban residential building is inseparable.Although China's urban housing construction quantity is very big,also has obtained many achievements in several ways.But cold region city housing still exist such as the quantity and the design of the light,a lack of concern for human settlement environment,design thinking have erroneous zone and so on series of questions.In this paper,through methods of literature,investigation visit,contrast analysis,first of all to comb the development and classification of the urban residential.To add urban residence at present there are several types of the two countries,single-family villas,townhouses,multi-storey residence,high-rise residential research and analyze the four different types of residential,fully comparison basis.Is verified by comparison with plan model,building materials,construction technology,energy-saving contrast,design concept,form a conclusion.At the same time puts forward the future development trend of the cold region of China urban residential design,hope for China's urban housing design provides design ideas and possibilities.
