Energy is the material base of human activity and the basic motivation of social economic development. Wind energy is a clean and renewable energy, and it is rich in resources and widely distributed. Wind power is the most important way of utilizing wind energy. It has received great concern from all around the world as there is no need to use fuel and has no pollution and radiation. The research on the output efficiency of wind turbine is a key problem of wind power generation technology.Currently, research on wind turbine mainly focuses on the analysis of output and transmission of wind farms, and it lacks the correlation analysis of these two aspects. This project discussed the main factors that affect the output and transmission of wind turbine, and tried to solve the optimal configuration and selection problem of wind turbines. The main research works are:(1) Based on analysis of the factors influencing wind turbine output, the wind turbine output prediction method is investigated. Neural network method is used to establish output prediction model based on BP network. The environment data received from wind farm is used as input to get the predict value of output. Three classic districts are used as case study to validate the model and achieved good prediction results.(2) As to the analysis of factors influencing transmission of wind farm output, static hot power method and dynamic hot power analysis method is used. The convection loss, heat loss, solar heat gain, conductor resistance are analyzed, and the key factor that affect transmission is wind speed. The transmission output calculation method is established, and through the comparison of static hot power method and dynamic hot power, the relationship between output and transmission power of wind turbine is discussed.(3) Based on the analysis of different output and transmission power of wind turbines, the optimal configuration of wind turbine is discussed and researched. Bar drawing is deployed to determine the parameters of wind turbine. After gaining the height, diameter, the relationship between the output power chart, the relation of wind farm height and wind turbine numbers, the impact of wind speed on transmission lines are analyzed, therefore to achieve optimal wind turbine configuration solution.
