New Models Of The New Rural Construction

As the developing country with 50% of the population engaged in agriculture, the new rural construction is concerned with the fate of the national development. Since the end of 20 th century, government, enterprises and numerous ambitious talents have participated into construction practices in the countryside, among which China Resources Hope Town is just the model as the representative of the cooperation between government and enterprise. It has been 6 years from the first BaiSe Town built in 2008, which are extensively focused by the governments, media and scholars all through. But, in the academia, the studies about hope towns mainly involved in the project overview and design concept of one of them and was lack of the systematic discussion for the operation pattern.By the chance of involving in the planning and design of the eighth of China Resources Hope Towns, the author did the field visit for other seven as the perspective of the designer and collected their particular data from planning, construction to completion through first-hand observation, questionnaires and symposia with the villager representatives and project manager. Meanwhile, the author compared “China Resources” with other construction patterns in environment renovation, industry support and organizational restructuring, so that it can conclude that “China Resources” is a highly effective and one-stop new pattern in the support of the rural construction, which will begin to take shape in two or three years, and rapidly form its regional influence relying on the brand effect of China Resources Group and efficient industry development planning, even drive the agricultural economy in its surrounding region. China Resources Hope Towns have strongly exploratory and prospective character not only in its planning and design concept but in the development and promotion of the agricultural products and community management.Through the personal experience of on-site investigation and early-stage design, the author proposes some beneficial opinions and thinking for the operation pattern of China Resources Hope Towns aiming to provide the references in design and experience for prospective China Resources Hope Towns and new rural construction.
