The assembly tooling directly influences the precision and quality of the assembly of general aviation products.Reasonable measuring method of assembly tooling could ensure its assembly and using accuracy.Different from traditional optical measuring method which has low accuracy and low efficiency,digital measuring method represented by laser tracker could meet the requirements of modern aircraft manufacturing.Taking the assembly tooling and typical structure of general aviation product as study objects,detection method for tooling installation,recheck and assembly configuration are studied based on the measurement technology of laser tracker.The research contents are as follows.Firstly,the relationship between the typical parts and assembly tooling is analyzed.Put the engine nacelle assembly accuracy as a requirement,the principle of benchmarking on the front assembly tooling,the establishment of coordinate system,the selecting principle of the key control points of joint and board are researched,and the selecting principle of the key points of components and parts appearance are given.Secondly,taking the typical tooling as example,the key technology of reference point selection,the installation and measurement method of joint and board,position setting are analyzed based on the measurement technology of laser tracker,and the reasonable installation and recheck of the specific tooling are completed.Finally,the measuring process of product assembly is introduced based on laser tracker.Taking the engine nacelle as the research object,the application of digital measurement technology on product appearance detection is realized.It is shown by the result that with the above technology and method,the installation of the assembly tooling and the measurement of the general aviation product assembly could be conducted effectively.This study provides a series of theoretical research and technical support for the follow-up measurement process planning,and promotes the application of digital measurement technology in current general aviation product area.
