Multi-tower structure with a large basement is an up-to-date structure style facing the problem of shortage of land. It's usually composed of several towers and a large basemet as an underground garage or underground store. Because of making the most use of land, the structure style suits community construction particularly. Many researchs on Multi-tower sturcture with a large basement have been done by scholars and engineering technicians in theory and design fields. Many achievements have been accomplished such as calculated theory model and how to choose the fix end, while further study is necessary. In this article, conclusion in theory and computational analysis of Multi-Tower structure with a large basement are done, and the structure behavior under horizontal load is deeply discussed.Firstly, calculation model and vibration reduction are summarized after several basic analysis methods are introduced, before that the principle of design is stated.Secondly, analysis of the stress and force influence of the tower to the basement is done. By studying the earthquake response of the overall structure when changing different parameters such as the structure style, the size or height of the tower, the distribution of stiffness of the basement, a conclusion of the influence area and how the area changes when parameters chages is drawed.Thirdly, influencing mechanism during the multi-tower buildings is studied. Seismic response of single tower on a large basement structure is studied when changing the structure style of the tower and the stiffness distribution of the basement to provide basis of how far of the basement should be included when analyzing the structure. Then twin-towers strucuture is analysed to clear the influence between two towers. As multi-tower structure, seismic response of different arrangement towers are compared to that of single tower to receal the affected characteristics.Lastly finit analysis is done of a tower on a large basement whose basement roof and first floor are in different heights, which is common in practical projects, to clear the stress state of split-level structure under the influence of horizontal seismic action. For several structure measures of split-level in common projects, response spectrum is done of overall structure to make the force transfer property of these structure measures clear. Then pushover analysis of overall structure with different split-levels is done to get there failure mechanism, aiming at clarifying the influence of split-level to the overall structure.In conclusion, three problems about the kind of structure style multi-towers on a large basement are mainly studied, including the influence of towers to the large basement, the influence mechanism of towers to each other, the force transfer property of split-level and its structure measures between the basement roof and first floor of the tower, which can provide theory and design reference for relevant reseach and design.
