Research On The Effects Of Navigational Bridges On Changjiang River Transportation

Changjiang river flows from west to east for thousands of years,which has breeded the glorious culture and history of China and is called the mother river of Chinese people.For thousands of years,Changjiang river affects Chinese politics,military,economics and cultures greatly.Changjiang transportation is of big volume,low cast and environmental friendship,which becomes the important support for local economics.How to get more involved in contemporary economics for Changjiang river remains an historical mission.Ships,channels and ports are three key elements for Changjiang transportation,each of them transaction on the others greatly.For instance,development of ships are greatly depends on channels and ports,no suitable channels and ports,ships cannot operates well,so ship development is lag behind channels and ports,at the same time,good channels and ports will promote ships greatly.For channels,their quality is not only determined by natural factors such as depth and width,but also affected by crossover buildings,which will heavily limits the throughout capacity,such as three gauges dam and navigational briges crossover Changjiang river.Three gauges dam puts both positive and negative effects on Changjiang river transportation,but navigational bridges put more negative effects on Changjiang river transporation which provent blocking Changjiang river transportation only.For these reasons,this paper studied the effects of navigational bridges on Changjiang river transportation.
