Application Of The Project Management On The Inland Waterway Dredging

Waterway transportation, as one of the the main transportation of our country, plays an important role in our country transportation and national economy. With the deepening of reform and opening-up, the large-scale development of the port and bay requires that the navigable depth is more and more deep. However, people always do not pay much attention to the management of inland waterway dredging engineering. Inland waterway dredging engineering has the problems of high requirements of equipments,many risks, complex surrounding structures and lack of enviroment protection. This thesis is to achieve the goal of the projcet more effectively on the basis of Project management theory,by the messures of advanced idea and technologyThis thesis analyzes the inland waterway dredging projectdeficiencies and defects, through the general research on the basic theory, methods of project management, and status of inland waterway dredgingengineering construction project management. It also apply the advanced theory and method of project management to the practice of inland waterway dredging engineering construction, and discuss the solution strategy and method by means of the inland waterway dredging project management related to the organization, cost, schedule, quality, safety, risk, and enrionment protection, to reach the goal of the project in cost, schedule, quality, safety, risk, and enrionment protection.Hereon, combined with the author’s own studies of the project management knowledge and years of work experience, according to the theory of project management and the experience of inland river dredging project personally participated, this thesis is to discusse the application of project management in inland waterway dredging engineering.
