| This dissertation summarizes the main factors affecting the development of drinking water treatment plant(DWTP) technology in our country, then discusses the main problems on the technology selection of drinking water treatment to be considered. The dissertation introduces the development situation of Maoming Binhai New Area and the problems exist in the system of water supply, and discusses the necessity of DWTP construction of Binhai New Area. The argument for DWTP scale, selection of the water source, site and technology is carried out. The treatment process is designed and the capital cost is estimated.The construction of Maoming Binhai New Area is a major development strategy of Guangdong Province Maoming city. Maoming Binhai New Area has a major development opportunity, but the current water supply facilities are not perfect, which restricts the development of New Area. In order to promote the rapid development of Maoming Binhai New Area and improve the infrastructure construction, the DWTP project of Maoming Binhai New area is should be performed as soon as possible.The engineering service scope is as follows: Diancheng area, Bohewan New Town comprehensive service area, Bohezhen living area, Bohe Resort Island area and Bohe Xingang area. The current scale of the plant is 100,000 m3/d.The water source options are He Jiao reservoir and Ru Dong River. Under normal conditions, the water quality of the two sources are good. However He Jiao reservoir water will appear high algae in summer, and Ru Dong River water will have high turbidity in flood. Under normal circumstances, the raw water quality is good, so the advanced treatment process is not designed, only reserved land is considered. Using Potassium Permanganate pre-oxidation process is used to prevent the high algae. Powder activated carbon emergency measure is to deal with the sudden pollution accident. Finally the general treatment process is decided as “pretreatment + conventional treatment + disinfection”.The treatment structures in the water plant includes: distribution well, mechanical mixing tank, folded plate flocculation tank, inclined tube sedimentation tank, post flocculating tank,V type filter, clean water tank, suction well, pumping station, chlorination and workshop. The sludge treatment facilities includes: drainage tank and reflux pump dosing, sludge tank and the mud pump tank, sludge thickening and sludge dewatering workshop. Affiliated buildings include: office building, gate room and mechanic repair warehouse.The plant covers an area of about 60 mu. The estimated total investment is about 179,461,000 yuan. |
