This article mainly investigates the water quality of rural drinking water safety project in Ningxia, and understands the different water quality (including the Yellow River water, ground water, brackish water) purification treatment process, and analysis three regions of Ningxia region of the water treatment process. The main water source is groundwater in areas of northern, and part of the groundwater quality is good, you can drink directly after disinfection, and part of the groundwater containing iron and manganese, when the treated water is100m3/h-150m3/h or less the size of a water treatment plant, you can choose the integration of processing equipment. Yellow River water is main water source of central arid, when the treated water of the water treatment plant is below150m3/h, we can use integrated handling equipment, and the large-scale treatment plant use conventional structures. The water quality of southern mountain is poor, it is mainly brackish water, and it main use reverse osmosis to treat brackish water.This article researches specific to the Yellow River water for the water treatment project examples, and analysis with the resulting data, and using excel get the relationship between dosage and turbidity removal efficiency. It determine the optimal dosage under different turbidity. It provides a reference for the future treatment of similar dosage turbidity, pH and other conditions determined.In this article, it get the treatment of brackish water in xiji county as an example, and estimate of the brackish water reverse osmosis desalination equipment costs3.11yuan/m3.Its high cost, because of the rural economy is relatively backward, it can not afford the higher processing costs. The existing project can be done using a reverse osmosis membrane which are domestic production, as to strengthen and improve the pretreatment, plus inhibitor in water treatment, prevent fouling of reverse osmosis membranes, and to do maintenance work of reverse osmosis membranes. This reduces the processing load of the reverse osmosis membrane, and extending the life of the reverse osmosis membrane, reducing the cost of treatment. In addition, urban and rural drinking water safety in central and southern Ningxia water project started in2012, the project planning from Jinghe of Liupan River diversion, solving Ningxia Wonju, Pengyang, Xiji, Haiyuan four counties (districts) of urban and rural residents44towns safe drinking water. The completion of the project will replace some of the high costs because of poor water quality and treatment works.
