Research On The Key Technology Of Engineering Machinery Simulation Experiments With Concentration On Human Factors

Engineering machinery is indispensable in the modern construction.For a long time,the engineering technology in China has developed based on economy and practicability and the experiments based on ergonomics are insufficient.Therefore,the security problems in the operation of engineering machinery have never been solved.However,the reason for the accidents always lies in the human factor.Consequently,it is essential to carry out experiments of engineering machinery based on human factor.Nevertheless,the size of the machinery and the complex landform of the operation site make the regular experiments in real world difficult.The simulation experiment will reduce the cost and energy consumption,in the meanwhile,increase the operability and security.In recent years,as a novel technique,virtual reality has been applied in diverse simulation experiments.Virtual reality is a cutting-edge comprehensive information technology,arising at the end of last century.Users are able to communicate and interact with the virtual environment in a natural and free-flowing manner,in which human senses are fully immersed by combining the system simulation,communication and computer graphics technology.If virtual reality were introduced in the modeling and simulation experiments of engineering machinery,the repetitive operation in the engineering design process would reduce and the visualization in the production process would increase and the user would truly participated in the virtual environment.Selecting Flat head tower crane as the prototype of the engineering machinery,this paper preliminary studies the method and technology of building simulation experiment platform with the consideration of human factors by creating virtual working scene of driving tower crane with simulation software and three-dimensional engine.And then,experiments will be carried out in real scene,two-dimensional computer scene and three-dimensional scene by referring to the working environment of engineering machinery.By this way,further research on the key technology of engineering machinery simulation experiments with the concentration on human factors will be carried out.
