In order to improve the energy efficiency of the city centralized heating system, the thermodynamic analysis of the whole heating system is carried out by using the method of entransy analysis, and the improvement methods are given for different parts of the central heating systems. In the thermal station, this paper proposes combination of urban heating network and geothermal energy complex new central heating system, which uses absorption heat pump instead of conventional plate heat exchanger. The absorption heat pump, driven by large heat exchange entransy loss between the primary network and the second network, extracts geothermal energy from shallow soil to heat the second network hot water, thereby increasing the heating capacity of traditional central heating system.According to the specific use environment,a new process of absorption heat pump is proposed, and the mathematical model of absorption heat pump is established for thermodynamic calculation and simulation analysis. Then a new compex central heating system test bench is built to verify the accuracy and reasonableness of the proposed mathmatical model, results show that: while centralized heat source not expansion and system energy consumption not changed, the complex new central heating system can improve the heat source heating capacity of 25% to 30%,which also increasing the transport capacity of the existing central heating pipe network.Energy conservation effect of the complex new central heating system is significant.
