The vibration of the vehicle noise characteristic is the important index of characterization of automobile quality. In twenty-first Century, the world automobile market competition is very intense, the use of different brand car performance and safety performance difference between the smaller and smaller. Consumers select cars often firstly feel the state of vibration and noise to drive or ride in a car, automobile comfort often become one of the important factors to distinguish the car brand is good or bad. So the vibration of vehicle noise control as an important subject in the car design and manufacture by extensive attention.In addition, it has become the world’s economic development topic of concern to control environmental pollution, reduce greenhouse gas emissions and saving resources, and lightweight automobile has become the development trend of world car. How to make auto parts to meet the design requirements of the premise, the material maximize performance out of automotive design and manufacturing is also an important factor to consider personnel.In this paper, we take a model of special vehicle engine bracket as the research object. First of all,we design the engine bracket filling with foam aluminum, then use the finite element software ANSYS to analyze the static and dynamic characteristics before and after aluminum foam filled, get the strain diagram of two bracket, the stress diagram, first six natural frequency, modal vibration diagram and harmonic response amplitude diagram. Through compare the static and dynamic characteristics, we can conclude that the bracket with aluminum foam filled have more superior static and dynamic properties to meet light weight requirements, achieve the effect of vibration damping and noise reduction.
