The subframe is a key component of dump trucks, which performance has directly relation with the performance and life of complete vehicle. Therefore, in order to improve the static and dynamic performance of complete vehicle, we should fill the new material foam aluminum into the transverse and longitudinal beam of the subframe, and then improve the static and dynamic performance of the subframe, at the same time reducing the quality and accord with the lightweight concept, then improve the static and dynamic performance and the ride performance of the complete dump truck.Firstly, take the subframe of YJ3128 type dump for the study, design the subframe filled with foam aluminum. Then, the static and dynamic performance of two kinds of structures is analyzed by using finite element method, respectively. There is three different work conditions of dump truck including bending, twisting and lifting in the static analysis. And the static analysis results show that the static performance of subframe is improved after filled with foam aluminum. Analyze the free mode, constraint mode and random vibration response spectrum of the subframe in dynamic analysis. Results indicates that the natural frequency of the subframe filled with foam aluminum is lower than the subframe without foam aluminum, which staggering the resonance frequency effectively and improving the dynamic performance of the subframe. The random vibration response spectrum analysis indicates the subframe filled with foam aluminum can improve its dynamic performance without influencing the ride performance of the vehicle. All the analysis shows that the dump trucks filled with foam aluminum has high performance in light quality and environmental protection resistance, and the traffic safety and riding comfort.
