Risk Study Of Ship Navigation In Low Temperature Environment

With ice navigation of the ship market warming, the foreign merchant ice design have become more and more perfect, but domestic ice navigation ships independent design is little, in order to achieve the transformation from a big shipbuilding country to a strong shipbuilding country should be fully aware of the cold climate of the navigation of the ship and the design risk.First, collect and study the ship's low temperature navigation information, and carry out the research of related risks. This paper mainly studies the ten major risks that the ship may encounter in low temperature. The risk of stability loss, hull damage, failure risk of power system, failure risk of cargo system, failure risk of deck equipment, failure risk of fire system, reduce risk of comfort, the failure risk of navigation and communication equipment, and risk of personnel safety decrease.Secondly, the research of the ten major risks in the low temperature navigation ship is divide into 63 sub risks, the severity and possibility of 63 sub risks are classified according to the "Comprehensive Safety Assessment Application Guide" which is come from CCS, and the risk identification are accomplished and the results are transferred into the risk analysis matrix. According to the risk analysis matrix, these risks can be divided into three kinds: unacceptable risk, reasonable and feasible low risk and ignorable risk. Through the study of the 63 sub risks, the proportion of non-acceptance risk is 34.9%, the proportion of reasonable and feasible lower risk is 58.7%, and accounting for 6.4% of the risk can be ignored.Finally, the risk counter measures are found out for the risk of the ship in the low temperature, focusing on the the measures for the antifreezing and the deicing. These antifreezing measures are the ballast tanks antifreezing measure, the main auxiliary equipment antifreezing measure, the deck equipment antifreezing measure, the lifesaving equipment antifreezing measure, the navigation equipment antifreezing measure and the cabin and safe passage antifreezing measure.
