Comparative And Updating Research On Climate Difference For Construction Techniques Of Brick And Tile

The global economy and information network has been swept by the globalization,and so far as to people's lifestyles,are appearing phenomenon like global assimilation.As a carrier of the regional culture,buildings have been demolished by the tide of globalization,many cities have gradually lost its identity during the wave of urbanization caused by globalization.Faced with this situation,the vernacular architecture and regional architecture faced with unparalleled challenges which vernacular architecture and regional architecture has lost its identity,including culture,religion,history,regional materials and construction techniques.With constantly increasing levels of science and technology,new materials and technologies continue to join the urban planning and architecture design movement,the traditional construction techniques also faced with crisis of being replaced.Faced with this situation,this paper considers the construction techniques of brick and tile materials as the main research object,makes the climate-response methods of vernacular architecture as recessive condition,and areas which used brick and tile materials as main outer envelope have been divided into two area,warm area and cold area,uses research methods such as literature review,field investigation,comparative induction,quantitative analysis and deductive modelings.This paper based on bricks' laying and tiles' jointing.Bricks' laying is mainly study which covers methods' of wall masonry,damp-proofing of wall,wall thermal insulation,indoor and outdoor paving,special construction practice,and so on.Tiles' jointing is mainly study which covers methods of water-proofing,damp-proofing,sun-shading,thermal insulation,wind-resistant and thermal insulation.Through the comparative study between different climate division,this paper puts forward that the application of traditional construction techniques which use brick and tile materials on contemporary mainly includes following three aspects:first,creating space atmosphere;second,implementing construction;third,expressing node details,the paper also combines the analysis of actual cases.Furthermore,based on analysis,research and investigation,this paper put forward two leading update methods of traditional construction techniques which use brick and tile,the first is material updating,and the other is technology updating.
