With the sustainable development becoming a social consensus, In order to solve the problems of poor thermal insulation and heat preservation properties of window, exhaust air insulation window as a new style of structure aimed at reducing the load which through the widow. Based on the whole life cycle energy consumption and environmental emissions calculation model, in the whole life cycle an analysis has been carried out for the energy consumption and environmental emissions of widows, compare energy consumption and environmental emissions of exhaust air insulation window with double-layer hollow window in whole life cycle. This paper takes office building in five different climatic provinces cities like Wuhan, Guangzhou, Beijing, Kunming and Harbin as research subject. Modeled heat transfer through the exhaust-air window and used Matlab platform for the simulation. The energy performance and thermal comfort of the exhaust air window and a conventional window are computed and compared and calculated the annual heat conduction load in different climatic region. Energy conservation and emission reduction of exhaust air insulation window were analyzed in different directions at Wuhan, and with the results of LCA, analysis the effective in energy conservation and emission reduction.Research shows that exhaust air insulation window were analyzed could achieve the goal of energy conservation and emission reduction in all of the climatic regions. However, if the service life of exhaust air insulation window is assumed to be 25 years,in consideration of the environment impact,these different insulation cases are nearly ideal energy saving and emission reduction in Wuhan, Guangzhou, Beijing and Harbin. It is nearly to achieve energy efficiency for the external wall insulation in Kunming,and it will reduce some degree of environment emissions in Kunming. When in different directions, there is a good energy-saving effect in east and west, but not well in north.Above all, The life cycle of the two kinds of window studies found that theenvironmental impact of the exhaust air insulation window is superior to double-layer hollow window and the same as energy saving.
