The current safety situation of construction in our country is still not optimistic, large-scale construction of the huge investment and large numbers of participants in construction would easily result in more serious accidents. Frequent construction accidents, would not only increase the cost of construction enterprises, result in waste of social resources, but also threaten people's lives. Safety evaluation for construction projects could help construction companies effectively forecast dangerous factors in order to put forward reasonable measures to prevent accidents occurring. So the research in the thesis has important theoretical and practical meaning.In the thesis, the current research of the safety evaluation is introduced, a set of index system of safety evaluation on construction projects is built, which contains 16 main indicators, with accident causing theory and hazard theory acting as the theoretical guidance; on the basis, AHP is applied to determine the weight of each safety evaluation index, fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method is applied to build a safety assessment model for construction project, and Matlab software is used for data processing; Finally, fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method for construction projects is used, combination with a real construction project. The safety situation of the construction project is quantitatively analyzed to determine the level of security of the construction site and advise of safety management is offered.The study achieves good results in safety evaluation of construction projects, lays the foundations for the safety assessment of construction enterprises, simultaneously, it offers government regulators an important reference to formulate safety evaluation specifications.
