Servo system has been widely used in all aspects of industrial application since its presence. Due to the rise of permanent magnet synchronous motor, permanent magnet synchronous servo system attracted a great deal of attention and developed well with the deep exploration of high-performance digital control system, which is the development trend of servo system in the future.Combining requirements of enterprise project, this paper studied permanent magnet synchronous servo system and then designed a control system with high efficiency and stability. The implementation process of designing this system has also been summarized.Firstly, the article illustrates the general situation of the development of permanent magnet synchronous servo system and introduces many kinds of control strategies. Then, on the basis of advanced mathematical model, this paper finished the simulation and experiment of the servo system. After the comparison between vector control and direct torque control, the latter control strategy is selected for relatively low torque ripple under low-speed situation. Moreover, this paper adopts a simplified method by substituting current sensor with sampling resistance to reduce the cost and decrease the volume. The principle of this sampling method is analyzed then the method is verified from simulation and experimental test.The main contents that this paper focused are the hardware design and realization of software for the permanent magnet synchronous servo system. Some issues in the project are also summarized for future research. Hardware debugging is the foundation of the system, which greatly affects the progress of the following work. Meanwhile, writing programs can realize the function of the whole system step by step. Because the intelligent equipment is the development direction of current control system, the human-computer interaction is necessary. In this project, 232 serial communication and CAN communication are debugged respectively to realize the communication between upper machine and lower machine, which makes the product easy to operate and control.Finally, this paper arranged the experimental results for the permanent magnet synchronous servo system under certain conditions. Results show the proposed control strategy and its system meet the requirement of the project. Subsequent development for this servo system is briefly disused.
