At present, permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) servo system has gainedgeneral regard all around the world. Fully digital system has always been the goal topursue in the field of servo system and provided fundamental impetus to the researchwork done in this paper. DSP exhibits a superior functionality, high processing speedand reliable performance, and therefore has a wide application prospect in the field ofservo system. In this paper, the MATLAB/SIMULINK module has been set up on thebase of PMSM vector control system, and the program flow of servo system has beendesigned according to the simulation. Then use the TMS320LF2407A as the control coreto set up digital PMSM servo system, which includes testing modules for phase currentsand rotor position and rotor speed, modulation of trigger pulse. Meanwhile the design ofhardware is particularly introduced. The experiment results are presented and analyzedin the last chapter. These works provide an idea for the industrial application of PMSMservo system.
