With this development condition, the construction high tide of reconstruction and new construction of civil airports of all the provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions are set off. Because of the actual situation and the reality of the social needs, all the construction of large airports come with obvious characteristics of times, which means large scale, new technology, the tight construction period and high quality. The airport terminal, which is the key building of the airport construction, will be deemed to be the significant representative image of the airport. While in china, there is the fact which is not matched that the domestic construction enterprise which has relative less experience of the construction management of large airport terminal construction. Some construction enterprise do not know how to control to finish the terminal construction task with high quality under the urgent time limited condition, to achieve all the good functions of the terminal and to achieve the requested quality aim of quality engineering construction and relative large gap of cognition and management. Therefore, exploring the common features and quality control key points among those large terminal, summarizing and establishing a systematic and standardized quality control countermeasure of general contractor level become the current or potential important work of general contractor of large terminal construction, and has vital significance.This paper basically describes fundamental theories, development history and its relevant research status domestic and overseas of quality management of construction project by analyzing some typical airport terminal construction cases domestic and overseas of recent years, and mainly focus on the notable characteristic, management factors and quality control of terminal 3 of Beijing capital international airport project. Based on the theories and methods research of project quality management control, and mainly relying on the experience and summarize of terminal 3 of Beijing capital international airport project, this paper emphatically study and summary the difficulties and countermeasure of construction quality control of terminal 3 of Beijing capital international airport general contracting project, put forward the details of strengthening the management control that the contractors should pay attention to during the process to achieve excellent project quality, which prove the possibility and necessity of finishing management target of project progress, cost and quality smoothly of terminal 3 of Beijing capital international airport in adverse conditions.
