The Internet of things technology is driving hotel to intelligent direction. Compared with the ordinary hotel, theme hotel puts more emphasize the personalized service, and also has higher requirements on intelligence. However, existing hotel control systems still have many deficiencies: firstly, applications are highly coupled with heterogeneous devices, and therefore has poor portability; secondly, it is difficult to effectively support the interoperability between heterogeneous devices; thirdly, existing systems do not fully integrated and use the information such as user and environmental state to provide active service for the user. Based on the management, control and interoperation of heterogeneous devices and also the intelligent service in room as the research target, this thesis builds a theme hotel oriented dynamic extensible control service system to solve the above problems. This system consists of a device middle layer and a context-aware service framework which solve the problems of the management, control and interoperation of heterogeneous devices and the intelligent service in room accordingly.The studies and work of this thesis can be summed up as the following:(1) A state object, operation object, parameter object and service oriented device description method is established and a device middle layer is build based on the device description. Describing devices' function as state object?operation object and service, shields the heterogeneity of device functions and provides the basis of interoperation between devices. On one hand, static interoperation between devices can be established based on configuration. On the other hand, dynamic cooperation between devices can be established based on service searching and invoking. The device middle layer shields the heterogeneity of devices and solving the access of heterogeneous network equipment, management, control, and interoperability problem based on the virtual device and network adapter mechanism, which makes the system has good portability and dynamic extensibility.(2) A context-aware service framework is established. To improve the intelligent level of room service, context-aware computing technology is introduced to perceive and reason the user and the space state information, and provide users with timely active service. An ontology model is established with the status of user and space and the needs of user as the core and context reasoning is implemented based ontology and custom rules using Jean tools and the methods for the distribution of the context information and service management is designed. Service framework shields the details for context acquisition and reasoning, simplifies the development of context-aware services, and improves the portability of context-aware services.(3) The control and service system is implemented based on OSGi platform, giving the system a good ability of dynamic evolution, and also the Java NIO, thread pools and asynchronous processing technology are applied to the system, making sure the performance of the system under the condition of high concurrency. Complex event processing technology is introduced and implemented based on Esper engine to enhance the system's ability to perceive complex state change events. A management system is implemented based on Node.JS, using WebSocket and long TCP connection to realize real-time push of messages.Test and analysis verify that the device description and the device middle layer can effectively support the interoperability between heterogeneous devices, and that the context-aware service framework can also effectively support the development of context-aware services. Results show that compared with the existing system, this system has better configurability, dynamic scalability, portability and better intelligence, and therefore provides a new method for building control system for hotel and has great practical application value.
