A Study On The Retirement Community Planning Based On Neo-Urban Farming Model

Since entering the 21 st century, our country has ente red a rapidly aging society, the huge aging population and rapidly rising elderly population proportion social endowment enterprise to bring unprecedented pressure and challenges. The traditional family endowment in the increasing aging population and grow ing old people life quality requirements, before seem increasingly inadequate. Therefore, the social endowments become main trend of our country's pension.In China, social endowment contains home endowment and institution endowment. The old man live as a family unit, and accept the social pension services, this way is the pension that occupy the home. And institutional pension refers to the old man from home into the endowment institutions, into the new aging population environment, and provided by the ins titutions endowment service. In institutional pension mode, the pension community endowment way, both at home and abroad has developed rapidly, from the elderly needs and characteristics of body and mind, not only has the function of living, but also neede d for life to take care of the elderly service ability and the style of rich activities. Retirement community took the lead in Beijing, Shanghai, Yunnan and other places built and operations, in terms of development, provide for the aged community construc tion is still in the stage and in management, idea, especially planning and design is not yet mature.Through the planning point analysis and case studies both at home and abroad, and combining with the Urban Farming theory, the purpose of this parper is to find the real problem of current China's retirement community and the solution under the Neo-urban farming retirement community, and provide opinions and Suggestions for current China's retirement community planning.First part of this paper is the introduction, in this chapter, there includes the introduction of the origin and significance of this thesis, the related concept and theories, the former and current typical research both at home and abroad, the content of the research methods, and the theoretical framework.The main body and key analysis of the thesis is from Chapter 2 to Chapter 5. In the Chapter 2, the writer reviews literature and the current main status and practical models of the aged community in both inboard and aboard. And then, in Chapter 3, the writer analyzes the specific characteristics of China's retirement community, and taking the example of Tianjin to analyze the requirement of China's old people through the result of questionnaire. Combining the idea of Urban Farming and retirement community, the writer tried to propose the model of Neo-urban Farming retirement community. Under the Neo-urban Farming model, the writer use another two Chapter to analyze the planning issue of retirement community from both angle of macro and micro perspectives and try to give some suggestion to China 's retirement community and aging problem.
