With the deepening of aging in China,the problem of elderly care becomes increasingly serious.While the economic prosperity and the improvement of people’s living standards make the needs of elderly care more and more diverse.In the context of active aging,emphasis is placed on the self-actualization of the elderly.It emphasizes that old-age care is not simply about material,but pays more attention to the view that old people have a sense of security,medical care,education,learning and happiness.In response to the demands of the times,the system is not yet perfect and there is an urgent need to find ways to solve the problem.The thesis takes the design of retirement community as the research object and proposes the design concept of multifaceted composite retirement community to promote the realization of the goal of active aging.The thesis discusses the research on the design of multiple complex retirement community in the context of active aging in five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly describes the research background of the thesis,the foundation of domestic and international research,the purpose and significance of the research,the content and methods of the research,and builds the research framework of the thesis.The second chapter sorts out and analyzes the relevant concepts and theoretical foundations,studies the development process of aging and the core meaning of active aging,analyzes the development process and case studies of retirement community at China and abroad,and organizes the relevant design standards of China’s retirement community category.Using an interdisciplinary theoretical research approach,a research platform is built to analyze the impact of active aging on the development of retirement community,analyze the problems and improvement directions of domestic retirement community,and provide a research basis for the later sections.The third chapter is an overall study,which proposes the design concept of multifaceted complex retirement community in the context of active aging,including the basic connotation,framework construction,basic features,implementation methods,design principles,design strategies and evaluation criteria.The basis for the design of retirement community community is promoted at the end of the chapter.The fourth chapter is a practical design study,which is carried out in three retirement community projects in Beijing,Nanning,and Shanghai to further prove the feasibility of the design study of multifaceted complex retirement community in the actual project design.Chapter 5 is the conclusion and outlook.The thesis presents the design concept of multifaceted complex retirement community in the context of active aging by analyzing the core meaning of active aging,analyzing the main problems of retirement community in China,and proposing the design concept of multifaceted complex retirement community in the context of active aging from the study of behavioral influencing factors and environmental interaction mechanism.The basic connotation,characteristic framework,implementation basis,design principles and design strategies of the multiple complex retirement community area are systematically elaborated,and the design strategies of the multiple complex retirement community area are empirically studied through three practical cases.It provides theoretical support and practical reference for enriching relevant research results and guiding the design of retirement community settlements by promoting the construction of multi-composite retirement community settlements as a way to solve the problems of population aging and retirement community needs.
