With a variety of the factors such as geological conditions, terrain conditions, weather conditions, and the design, construction, operation and process, there have been varying degrees of disease in the tunnel when it had been completed. It brings the security risks to the road transportation. Currently, the impact of Diseases on safety should be quantified. But the analysis of it is not very full. And there are no standards of tunnel's safety evaluation.First of all, the paper made a numerical simulation about the test of lining with cavity on top. The analysis of the lining include that the deformation with different load, the force characteristics, and the comparison of test and results.Second, this paper selecting a typical tunnel and make use of the standard of tunnel designing to calculated the load of lining on work. The paper make four finite element analysis models include that non-destructivity lining, the lining with cavity, the lining with the thickness deficiency, the lining's concrete strength deterioration, and the lining with cracks. Especially, it is use the way that removing the load and the supporting spring near the cavity.to establish the model of lining with the cavity.There are 25 cases in the cavity diseases and 16 cases in the thickness deficiency diseases and 20 cases in the concrete strength deterioration diseases and 20 cases in the crack diseases. And it is analysis lining's safety factor, deformation, and forces when the diseases of different degrees come up at the arch top, arch side, side wall, arch foot.The results show that the impact of the location and degrees of disease on linings are significant. With the increasingly degrees of disease, the safety of the linings decreases monotonically. The disease which is at the arch foot is the most unfavorable. The cavity and thickness deficiency at arch foot will cause the safety factor to sharp decline, as well as the cavity and thickness deficiency at arch top.Finally the paper, make a data fitting about the numerical results. Get a relationship of degree of diseases and lining's safety levels. And provide grading standards of quantitative evaluating the disease of lining.
