ZPW-2000 A track circuit is an important part of the railway section signaling system. Whether its equipments works normally or not plays a critical role in the security of the train control system. The failure of the track circuit not only affects the efficiency of the railway transportation, but also leads to safety accidents. Health management system of ZPW-2000 A track circuit makes integrated management for health status of the whole life cycle of the equipments, ensuring that track circuit functions properly by a series of activities, including the acquisition of accurate real-time operating status, the prediction of the future status as well as the improvement of security and reliability of the track circuit system. Therefore, studying ZPW-2000 A health management system has an important practical significance.The failure probability of track circuit devices is to be thoroughly analyzed to sum up failure effect and modes in the light of the system structure and function of ZPW-2000 A track circuit, along with the actual operation of field devices. Furthermore, the key techniques of ZPW-2000 A track circuit health management system are studied and a use-case analysis is conducted with several important devices.Firstly, failure probability for each device is deeply analyzed and the reliability of the track circuit system is studied with the introduction of the system configuration, which laid the theoretical foundation for the design of the track circuit integrated health management system.Secondly, the framework of ZPW-2000 A track circuit health management system is to be established and the key techniques of health management are studied. The fuzzy evaluation method is employed to assess the health status of system equipments, the results of the health index(HI), which is the basis of the prediction of the remaining equipment life, conducted by the fuzzy random theory. In addition, the regular field maintenance is to be adjusted to continual adjustment, the availability and accuracy of which is analyzed and verified.Finally, the software design of health management system of ZPW-2000 A track circuit is accomplished. Visual C++6.0 and Access 2003 assist in completing and debugging the system function module. Debugging results show that the health management system can evaluate the health state of the track circuit equipments and predict their remaining life and future operating conditions. Meanwhile, the system can ensure that the failures of ZPW-2000 A non-insulated track circuit system equipments are to be timely detected, so as to provide theoretical basis for the routine maintenance.
