Qamdo in eastern Tibet Autonomous Region as an important region of our country,the core area of Kham culture, is an important trade center on an important transportationhub between Tibet and Tibetan East political, economic, cultural and transportationcenter, the Tea Horse Road. Multi-ethnic culture clash of cultures since ancient times tomake it blend in Tibetan residential houses also form the main features of other culturescoexist.With economic development, Chamdo county population size and populationdensity increased rapidly, the way the original wood-burning heating in winter valleygenerated a lot of smoke which can not be excluded, more serious deterioration of airquality make this traditional heating mode is not sustainable. The authors tested twiceTibet research, this paper introduces the cultural characteristics of Chamdo region, ethniccomposition, characteristics described in the form of Qamdo residential; narrative andusing Ecotect analysis of the climatic characteristics of Chamdo. Based on climateChamdo chose passive energy-saving technology to improve indoor thermal environmentin an attempt to improve the living conditions of the residents who Chamdo and reduceair pollution due to the heating generated by burning wood. Demonstrated the feasibilityof passive energy-saving technology in the Chamdo region through field tests.Through the existing thermal environment Chamdo new residential building test analysis,comparing the different designs under the same conditions for the utilization of solarradiation is different in different rooms indoor thermal environment is good or bad.According passive energy-saving design principles, refer to the " Tibet Autonomous Region residential building energy efficiency design standards " and " passive solarbuilding technical specifications", combined Chamdo regional climate and culturalcharacteristics Chamdo region, the status of residential buildings, the authors proposedfrom urban planning, urban fabric, construction passive energy efficient design principlesand methods of building construction monomer to a series of Qamdo residential buildings.Based on this principle and methods, but also presents an example of urban planning,house design, structural design of an optimized solution. After simulation and verifiedby Designbuilder indoor thermal environment of different options before optimization,verified by comparing the indoor thermal environment optimized programs did receivesome degree of improvement.Principles and methods proposed thus Qamdo passive energy-saving design ofresidential buildings, as well as case after optimization, can be used as a reference designChamdo residential building, write local standard time.
