The cold place has harsh climate characteristics, which is cold and has high gapbetween indoor and outdoor temperatures, and has much snowfall, strong winds andother climatic particularities which make the comfort of indoor environments facegreater challenges. The usage of the skylights, provides ample lighting for the coldbuilding, improves indoor ventilation conditions, and improves indoor thermal comfortenvironment, plays an important role in promoting for the improvement of indoormicroenvironment.This paper takes the design of office building courtyard skylight as a researchstarting point, and by exploring the skylight design elements, study the impact forindoor micro-environment, to adapt to cold climate and improve the indoormicroclimate. As the design of skylights primarily impact more about the indoor lightand the wind environment, therefore, this research mainly focuses on indoor naturallighting and natural ventilation swing.This paper uses the digital simulation technology, conducting research on theskylight design problem. After mastering the using methods of the optical simulationsoftware Autodesk-Ecotect and wind simulation software Ansys-Airpak, whilemaintaining other design parameters unchanged, setting different skylight designvariables, the research respectively explore the different effects on the indoor lightingand ventilation, and ultimately come to the skylight optimal solutions which adapt tothe cold climate, and are conducive to the office building interior microclimate.The main contents expand the problem through three steps----proposing issues,analyzing problems, solving problem. First, basing on the analysis of the theory of theindoor lighting and ventilation, determined the skylight design variable elementsaffecting the interior lighting and ventilation----the plane position, distributionpatterns, hole size, sectional shape, cross-sectional dimensions. Secondly, according tothe simulation needs of the Autodesk-Ecotect software, explored the lighting boundaryconditions of cold place, adjusted the lighting analysis model and conducted the indoorlighting simulation experiment; according to the simulation results under differentvariables, contrasted and analyzed the data, and draw the optimized optimal solution foroffice buildings skylights adapting to cold light environment. Finally, according to thefeatures of the Ansys-Airpak software, explored the cold air boundary conditions, setventilation analysis model, launched indoor ventilation simulation experiment; and onthis basis, contrasted and analyzed the experiment ventilation data under differentskylight simulation, and obtained he optimal solution for adapting to cold officebuilding indoor air environment.On this basis, we propose the strategy for cold office lding ventilation skylight optimized design.Through the simulating of the interior light wind environment environment, thepaper explored the office building skylight design in cold place, expecting to effectivelyimprove indoor micro-climate, and ultimately to meet the requirements of indoorcomfort.
