| The spherical office building has a big volume, lots of office equipments, a numberof staff and a big cooling or hotting load. Using air conditioning system to maintain theindoor thermal comfort could consume large amount of energy, cause a variety ofair-conditioning diseases, this is bad for the staff’s physical and mental health.Duringthe transition seasons, the temperature of the outdoor air is hoter or cooler than theindoor air, using natural ventilation to maintain the indoor thermal comfort is energyconservation, environmental protection and beneficial for people’s physical and mentalhealth.This paper uses the CFD numerical simulation method setting up a steady-statemathematical and physics model about the natural ventilation on a spherical officebuilding with an atrium. Based on the outdoor meteorological parameters, firstly itanalyzes the construction’s natural ventilation potential, then analyzes the sphericaloffice building’s ventilation characteristics with different driving force. On the one hand,this paper mainly studies the influence of the Sunroof opening rate on the ventilationcharacteristics of the spherical office building with atrium, the results show that sunroofopening rate has a greater contribution to the building hot pressing ventilation, on theother hand, so does the. Influence of the ventilation opening-wall rate. the results showthat the ventilation opening-wall rate has greater contributions to the building windpressing and Wind-hot Pressure ventilation, finally, according to the engineeringeconomy, construction difficulty and the thermal comfort of the building on differentSunroof opening rates and ventilation opening-wall rates, when the building with a0.2 ventilation opening-wall rate, it’s effect sunroof opening rate is25%, when the buildingwith a100%sunroof opening rate, it’s effect ventilation opening-wall rate is0.15.Finally, the paper summarizes the research achievements and forecastes thesubject’s development prospect.The paper’s innovative achievements mainly includes the following two parts:(1)Based on the natural ventilation mathematical and physical model about thespherical office building with an atrium, the paper analyzed the Sunroof opening rate’sand ventilation opening-wall rate’s influence to the building’s natural ventilation effectwith different driving forces, the series of conclusions have an certain referencesignificance to the spherical office building with an atrium’s optimization design of thenatural ventilation.(2)Natural ventilation of the spherical office building with an atrium issystematically researched, which has a top opening and uniform windows.
