A Study Of The Formation Of Needlework Elements In Modern Women's Creation

Through the use of needle and thread symbol elements in traditional needlework(Chinese Nvgong),the article further explores their expressions in contemporary female creations' perception,pattern and form.By manually combining the needle and thread in designed works,the author uses tie-dyed art as performance carrier,experiencing the concept expression,form design and techniques using in modern female creations.Along with the development of the era,needlework has gradually developed from practical and functional manual labor into aesthetic art.The past sheltered art has helped female break the boundaries between art and technology.In more and more modern female creations,needle and thread are used as expression medium,which continues the culture of life consciousness,pattern moral,geomatics cognitive and female emotion as such and the meaning of manual process.This also confirms modern women's identity of traditional needlework.In the meantime,the increasing female consciousness has also changed their expression in creation content and form performance.They give full play to their creativity and imagination,as well as their gift of art in their most familiar daily life.The use of ready objects in daily life such as needle and thread,and art works with nature of manual,shows their constant femininity and emotion.The expression power continually breaks through the force of traditional art form,in which the way of manual operation is always carrying female features,and is more closed to female living style.The author hopes to continue the culture of traditional needlework,enlighten female manual value by digging into traditional needlework elements.In this way,the needlework elements can be enabled to coincide the aesthetic demand of modern female in art creation,and shine new vigor and vitality.
