The actual research object of this project is the engine oil pump driving gear which completed with the CA6DM-42E3 Diesel engine,and this type of diesel engine is produced by an engine plant which located in Wu xi.Using the software which named ANSYS15.0 to do the carburizing and quenching finite element analysis work about the crank-crankshaft gear.Using the ANSYS software to deal with the coupling problem,the finite element analysis of the steady-state temperature field,transient temperature field,stress field and strain field was carried out using the Workbench15.0 correlation flowchart.In order to compare analysis results with test results conveniently.In this project,the FEM analysis and the actual installation of the furnace are verified by two kinds of ways to fill furnace.Through to test the base tangent length,the outer diameter size,the inner hole size,tooth profile,tooth lead and the transformation of surface,we verify the reliability and accuracy about the FEM analysis of the gear carburizing and quenching process.The main work and research results of this paper are as follows:The finite element analysis of the oil pump driving gear and crank gear carburizing process was carried out by ANSYS15.0 finite element analysis software.According to carburizing and finite element analysis method,we establish mathematical model of the gear carburizing process.When the carburizing process been done,we inspect the deep carbon concentration gradient using peeling chemical analysis methods.Then we compare the measured data with the finite element analysis data.The heat exchange coefficient of gear and quenching oil was calculated based on the cooling characteristic curve of MT355.ANSYS15.0 finite element analysis software is used to analyze the two kinds of the quenching cooling stage in the furnace.And test and verify the result,including the detection of surface compressive stress after carburizing,the outer diameter of gear,inner hole size,tooth profile,tooth lead and the transformation of the end surface.According to the comparing the FEM analysis with test result about the two kinds ways to fill the furnace,we can find out a more reasonable way to fill the furnace.Through the study and analysis of the above work,it can provide a convenient and quick analysis method for the related work in the future.
