With the rapid development of the printing industry,the problem of environmental pollution is also worsening.In September 2013,the State Council released the Action Plan for Prevention and Control of Atmospheric Pollution,which explicitly proposed that VOCs should be managed in several industries including the printing and packaging industry to meet the requirements of green production and environmental protection.This paper studies the VOCs emission characteristics in the printing industry.Through the investigation of production technology,the main sources and components of VOCs in the printing workshop are analyzed,and the effective measures for pollutant control are put forward.A mathematical model was established to study the diffusion mechanism of VOCs in printing production and provide theoretical reference and basis for reducing VOCs emission and pollutant control.The VOCs exhaust gas generated in the printing workshop is in an unorganized discharge state,which needs reasonable ventilation mode for effective control and collection,and the end-of-pipe technology is used to purify and discharge the VOCs.This paper tests the air quality and pollutant concentration in different areas of the printing workshop,and analyzes the main production sites and diffusion paths of pollutants.Local ventilation was adopted to control the diffusion of pollutants in the printing workshop.Rational ventilation design was carried out for different workshop construction and printing equipment.Numerical simulation software was used to simulate the ventilation process to verify the ventilation effect.This article summarizes common industrial VOCs exhaust gas treatment methods.Aiming at the emission and treatment of VOCs in the typical offset printing process in the printing industry,the analytic hierarchy process(AHP)is used as a model to build the assessment system of VOCs treatment technology in this industry,to sort out the existing treatment methods and screen out the best feasible treatment techniques.In this paper,the equipment structure,process principle and operation flow of zeolite runner adsorption and concentration + regenerative thermal oxidizers(RTO)technology are studied,and the key points of safety and energy saving design of the system are analyzed.The technology was applied to the treatment of VOCs waste gas in the printing workshop.The processing efficiency of the system and the economic benefit analysis were tested.The results showed that the treatment efficiency,emission concentration and discharge rate of main pollutants reached the industry standard.
