Hexanitrohexaazaisowurtzitane?CL-20?is one of the most powerful single explosives with the highest energy,the highest density and the best thermal stability.However,due to factors such as high mechanical sensitivity and poor safety,its popularization and application are greatly limited.In order to reduce the sensitivity of CL-20 under the premise of maintaining high energy.This dissertation takes CL-20 and TATB as the research object,and combines the research ideas of nanostructured and coated technologies.The facile and fast solvent/nonsolvent method was applied to prepare CL-20/TATB nanocomposite with novel structure.Due to the multiple desensitization effects of this structure,the nanocomposite has significantly reduced the sensitivity of CL-20 while preserving its high energy yield.The research results can give a new approach to solve the safety problem of CL-20.It is of great significance for the modification of nitramine-based high-energy explosives and their application in the national defense high-tech fields.The main contents of this dissertation are as follows:?1?Preparation and characterization of the CL-20/TATB nanocomposite with novel structure.The nanocomposite of CL-20 and TATB with a novel structure has been prepared using a facile and fast antisolvent method.Then,we characterise its structure and performance through some characterization techniques.It can be learned from the SEM picture that this crystallization approach takes advantage of strong antisolvent and temperature effects to create a dense and uniform coating of nano-scale dendritic TATB on the surface of the nanosheets ofa-CL-20 and TATB.In addition,some nano-scale TATB particles fill in between the nanosheets.The presence of thea-CL-20 phase is shown by comparing the powder XRD pattern of the sample to the patterns fora-CL-20 and the raw materials and by Raman analysis.In the nanocomposite of CL-20 and TATB,Quantitative HPLC measurements confirm that the TATB content of the CL-20/TATB nanocomposite is 20.2 wt%,and the remaining 79.8 wt%of CL-20 is will help preserve explosive.Besides,this nanocomposite has a good thermostability.Owing to the multiple desensitization effects of its structure,the CL-20/TATB nanocomposite has a low impact sensitivity,significantly lower than that of raw CL-20 or the physical mixture,and nearly as low as that of the insensitive explosive LLM-105.?2?Preparation and characterization of the CL-20/TATB composite.The CL-20/TATB composite explosives were prepared with DMSO as solvent and toluene as non-solvent.SEM test results show that the CL-20/TATB composite crystals have smooth surfaces and a little defect.There are two morphologies—granular and lamellar,respectively.And the particle size is mostly about 3?m.IR test results show that the peaks of CL-20/TATB composite mainly correspond to TATB,but there are new absorption peaks appearance at 2246.37,2370.74,and 1844.13 cm-1.When it comes to the TG-DSC test results,compared with the raw materials,the thermal decomposition peak temperature of CL-20 is advanced by 11.50?,and the thermal decomposition peak temperature of TATB is decomposed by 20.93? in advance.
