The material of three dimensional braided composite is a new kind of composite material.In particular,the composite material has the advantages of light weight,good rigidity,corrosion resistance and high temperature resistance,so it is popularly being used in many fields,such as aerospace,defense,military,automobile industry,shipbuilding and so on.When the 3D braided is used as the reinforced phase of the composite,the shear strength,impact resistance,toughness and so on can be achieved,But the weaving technology of the variable section is one of the difficult problems in the 3D knitting technology,which greatly limits the extension and the use of 3D braided composites.The existing equipment in 3D braided weaving section,which can be achieved at present condition;However,there is no more mature weaving process and equipment can be realized in the process of weaving and cross section,the cost of the equipment is higher,as too much people participate in this process,the efficiency of the equipment will be reduced.This paper tries to combine the traditional change yarn knitting technology with the existing change yarn technology together to design a new kind of active yarn carriers,which can meet the variable cross-section for the three-dimensional weaving equipment work requirements.Based on the research of four-step process and three-dimensional weaving and decreasing yarn,this paper discusses the method of knitting the fabric with variable cross section.Comparing the advantages and disadvantages of various kinds of knitting methods,a design scheme of automatic yarn feeder is presented: A yarn carriers owns a plurality of threads,and devices with the driving motor,then the motor controls number of the braiding yarns,finally,the change of the cross section is realized.In this paper,the design and assembly of the various parts of the active yarn carrier is completed by the three-dimensional design software CREO,and the active yarn carrying device mainly includes the yarn control device,the yarn reducing device and the driving device.ANSYS analysis software is used to analyze and optimize the mechanical properties of the key parts of the active yarn carrier,and get the better parts design parameters.All of these will provide a good foundation for the subsequent research and design.The yarn carriers driving device,this control system of the active yarn carriers are designed,including the design of hardware circuit design,control circuit principle diagram and software design.Using AC89C52 MCU as the control center of the control system,using the drive controller to control the operation of the stepper motor and the control circuit simulation debugging,finally achieve the design requirements of the yarn carriers on active drive control system can automatically increase or decrease yarn.
