As China's market economy status has been continuously strengthened,the dominant position of enterprises is becoming increasingly apparent.So the traditional method of cost management has become increasingly unsuited to the new economic environment and social environment.Especially for Y oil and gas storage and transportation company,cost controlling becomes more and more urgent,so the cost of all kinds of projects get many attention.In order to come up with the new situation of environmental requirements,project cost management should also keep pace with the times,to overcome the unscientific,unreasonable cost management mode,to reduce the cost of many projects.Up to now,the industry matures,the implementation of low-cost strategy has become important to improve core competence of petroleum enterprises.It is very important to use the method of cost-drivers dealing with the current international environment and domestic market demand and maintaining the core competitiveness.Therefore,this paper analyzes the component costs of its projects in China petroleum enterprise,and then finds out the driving factors of the cost,and constructs a new cost management system,trying to reduce project cost level of this petroleum enterprise.Therefore,the main purpose of this paper is to establish a complete cost management mode,the market environment to deal with a sudden change in the situation and enhance the market competitiveness of the enterprise.The structure of this paper is as follows.The chapter 1 describes the purpose,significance,research status,research methods,research content and innovation of this study;the chapter 2 expounds the concept of cost drivers and engineering cost;the chapter 3 introduces the fundamental situation and the existing problems in the cost management of Y company;the chapter 4 analyses cost drivers of the Y company with its typical engineering project as an example;the chapter 5 concludes.
