The Carbon Emissions Embodied In Export Of Anhui And Analysis On Their Influencing Factors

With the impact of global economic development on the environment,the relationship between international trade and environment has become a hot topic among scholars.How to maintain the sustainable development of economy and environment is the goal that every country is pursuing.While,emissions of carbon dioxide is the most important factors that affect the environment,China,as the world's largest emitter of carbon dioxide,is also one larger exporter in the world,the emissions of carbon dioxide in export are rising.Therefore,in the premise of maintaining export growth,how to reduce the decline in the embodied carbon in export is the top priority for our country to face the trend of low-carbon economy development.Anhui province actively respond to a nation called on energy conservation and emissions reduction.In July 2017,Anhui province identified the targets of energy conservation and emissions reduction during "the 13 th five-year plan",which is,by 2020,the province's energy consumption per unit GDP will fell by 16% over 2015.Based on the above background,this paper focuses on the embodied carbon in export of Anhui.Firstly,the export status of Anhui province are analyzed,and the questions that Anhui province are facing during development.Secondly,the paper,on the basis of relevant theories,evaluates the embodied carbon in export in 2000-2015 by using Input-Output Tables,as well as the changes in carbon emissions by LMDI decomposition,namely the scale effect,structure effect and technology effect,and analyze the influence factors of embodied carbon in export trade by using the panel data.The result shows that the embodied carbon in export of Anhui increased 12 times from 2000 to 2015,the export scale effect is the largest and has a positive impact on carbon emissions,the structure effect is relatively weak and has a positive effect,technology effect does not keep to inhibit the action of carbon embodied in export,and the effect is not obvious.In the influence factors,the effects of the export scale,export structure proportion and the ratio of capital and labor are positive,but the effect of the ratio of export structure is different from what we expected because of unreasonable export structure,and it is not obvious,which is consistent with the result of LMDI decomposition.The effects of industrial output per capita and the intensity of carbon emission are negative and play inhibitory roles.Anyways,the export structure of Anhui remains to be optimized by adjusting the export products.Anhui should reduce the exports of high carbon emissions,and increase the exports of low carbon emissions,so that the total carbon emissions of export implicit will be decreased in the case of export scale growth.Finally,based on the above analysis,the policy proposals for "green" export in Anhui province are listed.
