Soybean oil based waterborne polyurethane(SWPU)is a biodegradable biomass material.But there are shortages of water absorption and high temperature resistance,which limits its application and popularization.In this paper,SWPU was prepared by using acrylate-based soybean oil-based polyol.It was grafted and modified by acrylic ester to improve the performance of products.Furthermore,a new method for preparing soybean oil based polyols containing acrylic ester and low viscosity was provided.The combination of soybean oil based polyol and ultraviolet(UV)curing technology can be used to prepare environmentally friendly UV curing resin.In this paper,two kinds of soybean oil-based polyols:chlorinated soybean oil polyol(SOL)and epoxy soybean oil acrylate(AESO)were synthesized from epoxy soybean oil.A new type of low viscosity soybean oil acrylate(ACSO)was prepared by using SOL and acryloyl chloride(AC)at low temperature without catalyst.The SOL,ACSO and AESO were characterized by fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR)and nuclear magnetic resonance spectrum(NMR).The characteristic peaks in the FTIR graph and NMR diagrams showed that the structure of ACSO was similar to that of AESO.ACSO with varying viscosity and acrylate content could be obtained by changing the amount of AC.The following is that SOL was mixed with AESO and ACSO,respectively,to prepare soybean oil based polyol 1 and 2.And then AESO-based and ACSO-based waterborne polyurethane were synthesized(AESO-WPU and ACSO-WPU).AESO-based and ACSO-based polyurethane acrylates(AESO-PUA and AESO-PUA)were prepared by emulsion polymerization with methyl methacrylate(MMA)and butyl acrylate(BA)as comonomer.The structure of the polyurethane was characterized by FTIR,thermogravimetric analyzer(TGA)and transmission electron microscopy(TEM),and the properties of the films were characterized.The results showed that when the mass fraction of AESO was 10%and 30%,the stability of the emulsion was strong and the film forming was good.Compared with AESO-WPU,the thermal decomposition temperature(T5)of AESO-PUA films were increased from 148℃to 225℃,and the water absorption was reduced to 15%.The T5 of ACSO-WPU compared to ACSO-PUA was increased from231℃to 257℃,and the water absorption decreased to below 10%.The ACSO-PUA film with hardness 4H,tensile strength 16 MPa and elongation 165%was obtained at m(MMA):m(BA)of 6:4.ACSO-WPU had better water absorption and thermal decomposition temperatures than AESO-WPU.Finally,a new type of environment-friendly UV curing resin with good performance was successfully prepared by ACSO.Its performance was compared with the properties of AESO cured resin.Meanwhile,the effect of styrene addition on the properties of the film was discussed.The results showed that ACSO had a better ductility than AESO,which was easy to be constructed.The hardness of the ACSO and AESO solidified films can reach 4H,and the curing time was similar.While the ACSO films were superior to AESO in terms of adhesion and impact resistance.It will be shorten the curing time,increase the hardness and improve the impact resistance by adding styrene.
