Comprehensive Measure On Characteristics Of The Pollution In Weihe River Of Xi'an

As the largest tributary of the Yellow River,Weihe River is an important surface water,it is the mother river of Shanxi province.On the one hand,Weihe River is crucial water source for the social and economic development of Shanxi province,on the other hand,it is an important river to accept pollutants in Shanxi province.Obviously,it follows that Weihe River plays a crucial role in the development of Shanxi province,therefore,it is very important to study the trend of the Weihe River.This paper takes COD and ammonia nitrogen in Weihe River as object,Permanganate titration were used to determine the concentration of COD,Nessler,s reagent sepectrophotometer method were used to determine the concentration of ammonia nitrogen.By monitoring and collect the relevant section of the data,On the basis of standard GB3838-2002,changing trend of COD and ammonia nitrogen in the last three year were studied.Analyzing the changing trend of COD and ammonia nitrogen with time,the results showed that the concentrations of COD and ammonia nitrogen are falling,but ammoniac nitrogen pollution is more serious;comparing the concentration of COD and ammonia nitrogen in different period of river,the results showed that the concentration of COD and ammonia nitrogen are the highest in the dry season;by analyzing the spatial distribution of COD and ammonia nitrogen,it showed that concentration of COD exceed national stardard in XiTonggaosuqiao section,the concentration of ammonia nitrogen exceed national stardard in XiTonggaosuqiao and GengZhenqiao section,Zaohe river and Linhe river are polluted seriously,the relevance of the COD and ammonia nitrogen in the tributaries and COD and ammonia nitrogen in the main stream was studied by SPSS software,it showed that the concentration of COD and ammonia nitrogen in Zaohe river and Linhe river are the main sources of COD and ammonia nitrogen.Based on above results,in order to remedy pollution of Weihe River in Xian,it is important to harness Zaohe river and Linhe river,other treating measures also were put forward.
