The Costume Design is not only the method to create wearable clothes but also a transformed progress from the abstract thinking to the real substance,to show the spirit of each drama.Designers pour their knowledges into this progress,making designed costumes own the value of their ideas.According to this added stuff,different design thinkings assist the costume design developed into more types.Because of different serviced targets and detailed atmospheres,in the material and spiritual development nowadays,the fuzzy thinking exhibits various features of costume design which may be utilized into practice.Six chapters are shown in this paper.After firstly giving reasons of choosing this theme for my study,the Chapter 2 describes the identifications of the fuzzy thinking,noncontemporary drama and the costume design.The Chapter 3 expresses the possibilities of fuzzy thinking using in costume design,with four aspects that are circumstances in the story,roles and relationships,the whole art style and the taste of viewers.The Chapter 4 gives several examples to analyze four directions about the fuzzy thinking practiced in the costume design of non-contemporary drama works detailedly.The Chapter 5 shows my finished works in fuzzy thinking and the simple plan for the graduation design.The last part are the conclusion of fuzzy thinking in costume design.Nowadays,many scholars believe in separated studies of each subjects.Some conclusion are realistic,but some results turn to be lack of function in design practice.Practices among subjects was not paused like the slogan any more,especially after study the way of fuzzy thinking in costume design.I hope this paper could guide the design practice to some degrees.
