The rare earth Tb3+ doped,Eu3+ doped and Tb3+/Eu3+ co-doped sodium-nepheline transparent glass ceramics were successfully prepared by melt crystallization method, and determined the optimum ratios of raw materials by using orthogonal test. The optimal heat treatment system were determined by differential scanning calorimetry?DSC?: Tb3+ doped sodium-nepheline glass samples were nucleated 1h at 480? and crystallized 1h at 580?;Eu3+ doped sodium-nepheline glass samples were nucleated 1h at 480? and crystallized 1h at 585?;Tb3+/Eu3+ co-doped sodium-nepheline glass samples were nucleated 1h at 480? and crystallized 1h at 580?.The results of XRD showed that main crystal phase of sodium-nepheline glass ceramics is NaAlSiO4?35-0424?,and the addition of rare earth ions had no effect on the crystalline phase. The morphology and grain size were observed by using Scanning electron microscopy?SEM?.The transmission of glass ceramics samples in visible region can be determined by transmittance curve: the Tb3+ doped sodium-nepheline glass ceramics samples can be up to 75%,the Eu3+ doped sodium-nepheline glass ceramics samples can be up to 74% and the Tb3+/Eu3+ co-doped sodium-nepheline glass ceramics samples can be up to 78%.The analyzed results of fluorescent spectrum shows: the emission at 544 nm correspond to 5D4?7F5 magnetic dipole transition of Tb3+ ions from the fluorescence spectra of Tb3+doped glass ceramics, the doped concentration of Tb3+ is 4% corresponding to the strongest fluorescence intensity;the emission at 592 nm correspond to 5D0?7F1 magnetic dipole transition of Eu3+ ions from the fluorescence spectra of Eu3+doped glass ceramics, the doped concentration of Eu3+ is 3% corresponding to the strongest fluorescence intensity;the strongest fluorescence intensity of Tb3+/Eu3+ co-doped sodium-nepheline glass ceramics appears when the ratio of Tb3+: Eu3+ is 1:1,and the energy transfer exists between Tb3+and Eu3+.
