The Holism Research On Ecological System

Since the 20 th century,the concept and the development of ecosystem are inseparable from the ecological holism on the basis of understanding and discussion.With the ontology and methodology for the adjustment of the status of ecological holism,ecosystem research has achieved remarkable progress.In the first chapter of this paper,it has reorganized the whole theory and the origin of the concept of ecosystem.The second chapter introduces the emergence of system ecology which occurred at the beginning of the 20 th century.It is the core of ecological research.The study of system ecology is generally related to the holistic,and the method of reduction is also related to the essential.The study of Odum brothers' research has pushed the whole of the ecosystem and the reductive to a climax and borrowed Levens' s view on the ecosystem give a new holistic interpretation.The third chapter analyzes the current research on the core problems in the ecosystem.The research on biodiversity,ecosystem functions and ecosystem function experiment is more and more.The debate on biodiversity and the function of ecosystem is inseparable from the relationship between diversity and stability in ecology,the positive correlation between diversity stability is usually related to some form of holism,while skeptics are generally associated with reductive.The vague definition of the concept for ecosystem function makes the holism and reductive divided again.The fourth chapter discusses the contemporary research on the ecosystem,the energy,the material and the "connectivity" of ecosystem.Therefore,the introduction of the theory of evolution is indispensable to the research of the ecosystem.The rise of the new concept of earth system attracted more scholars to pay attention to the loss of biodiversity and ecosystem function research problems.In the process of evolution of organisms,the introduction of evolutionary theory to make up for the lack of experimental model.Therefore,the introduction of evolutionary theory of ecosystem holistic research is necessary.Through the discussion of these chapters,we believe that for the study of ecosystem,on the basis of recognizing the ontological status of holism,the view of the introduction of reductive in methodology should also be as important as holism.Through the evolutionary theory of ecological holism,the development perspective can help to establish a complete description of the origin and development of the concept of ecosystem.Also help us explain the essence of ecosystem,the evolution of theoretical form and the development direction in philosophy.
